Ideas that move people. Conversations that move systems.
I love speaking. Not simply because I enjoy being on a stage (although I do!) but because the right conversation can shift how people see a problem, reconnect them with their purpose and sometimes give them permission to think differently.
My speaking brings together more than 20 years of clinical and system leadership, frontline general practice, transformation experience and my own lived experience of leadership. Whether I’m speaking to a room of clinicians, executives, emerging leaders or an entire health system, I want people to leave feeling challenged, hopeful and ready to do something differently.
For meeting and conference organisers: Dr Agatha Nortley-Meshe brings a rare combination to the stage: a practising GP’s ground-level view of where care breaks down, and an executive system leader’s grasp of how to fix it. Her talks move audiences from diagnosis to action. She has spoken for NHS England, Integrated Care Boards, the Royal College of General Practitioners, and international audiences including Ateneo de Manila University.
The Interfaces Matter: From Fragmentation to Flow
Delivered at the Oscar Krane Excellence in Healthcare Conference, June 2026
Why some of the biggest opportunities to improve care lie not within our organisations, but between them, and what it takes to build genuinely integrated systems around people rather than organisational boundaries.
Compassionate Authentic Leadership in Modern Healthcare
Delivered at the London Resident GP Annual Conference, March 2026
What it takes to lead with compassion and stay authentic under the pressures of a modern health system.
Neighbourhood Health: From Ambition to Delivery
Neighbourhood working is not simply about relocating services closer to home. It requires a fundamental shift in how we think, lead, commission and work together, with communities at the centre.
From Crisis to Coordination: Rethinking UEC in Neighbourhood Models
If neighbourhood care means people are better supported and better monitored, urgent and emergency care has to change shape too, spotting deterioration earlier, intervening before crisis rather than reacting to it, and building seamless two-way pathways between neighbourhood teams and UEC providers, so no one falls through the gap on the way in or the way home.
The Left Shift Is Also a Mindset Shift
If we genuinely want prevention and care closer to home, we cannot continue designing systems primarily around acute demand. This talk explores what it means to shift not only resources, but our thinking, towards prevention, communities and the wider determinants of health.
Health Equity by Design
Health inequalities are not inevitable. Exploring how leaders can move beyond describing inequality towards designing services and systems that actively address it.
Leading Authentically
Representation, resilience and the courage to lead as yourself. Drawing on my own leadership journey, I explore what it means to lead when you do not always see yourself reflected in traditional leadership spaces, and why great leadership is not about fitting a mould, but understanding your values, finding your voice and bringing your humanity with you.
Leadership Starts Where You Are
You do not need a title to lead. A practical and uplifting conversation for emerging and established leaders about purpose, influence, authenticity and lifting others as you climb.
Two clips from the Urgent Health UK National Conference, on the same theme as From Crisis to Coordination: Rethinking UEC in Neighbourhood Models.

Not every important conversation needs a keynote. I also chair and contribute to panels, facilitate executive and system conversations, host fireside discussions and work with organisations to create thoughtful, engaging spaces for difficult or complex subjects. My style is warm, curious and conversational, creating enough challenge to move the discussion forward while making space for different voices to be heard.
