That is where I can help. I bring together frontline clinical experience, executive and system leadership and practical transformation expertise to help organisations make sense of complexity and turn ambition into meaningful change, while keeping people, communities and health equity at the centre.
Health System Transformation
Transformation is rarely just about redesigning a service. It is about people, relationships, culture, infrastructure and the conditions we create for different parts of a system to work together. I work with boards, executives, clinical leaders and teams to understand the whole system, identify where fragmentation is getting in the way, and create practical routes towards more joined-up care.
Integrated Neighbourhood Health
Neighbourhood health should be more than moving existing services into a smaller geography; done well, it starts with people and communities. I support systems to develop neighbourhood models that connect primary care, community services, local government, social care, the voluntary sector and local residents around population need, shifting the focus towards prevention, earlier intervention and whole-person care. Because if we genuinely want to shift care to the left, we also have to shift our thinking.
Urgent & Emergency Care
My experience spans primary care, NHS 111, ambulance services, urgent care and wider urgent and emergency care transformation. I help organisations look beyond individual services to understand the interfaces between them, improving flow, strengthening alternatives to hospital and creating models that help people receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
Health Equity & Population Health
Health inequalities are created by much more than healthcare, which means they cannot be solved by healthcare alone. I help organisations use population insight alongside the knowledge held within communities to understand who is being underserved, why, and how services can be designed differently. Equity is not something to add at the end; it needs to be designed in from the beginning.
Executive & Strategic Advisory
Sometimes organisations don’t need another programme; they need a trusted, experienced perspective. I provide independent strategic and clinical advice to boards, executives, transformation programmes and organisations navigating complex change: shaping strategy, reviewing a model or proposal, facilitating conversations across organisational boundaries, supporting bids and service redesign, or providing ongoing advisory input. My role is not to arrive with all the answers; it is to ask the right questions, connect the dots, bring a whole-system perspective and help people find a way forward that works in the real world.
Inclusive Leadership & Cultural Change
Sustainable transformation needs cultures in which people feel able to contribute, challenge, collaborate and lead. I work with organisations and leaders to create environments where people feel seen, heard and valued, with compassionate leadership, inclusion, equity and belonging embedded in how organisations work, not treated as separate initiatives.
Every organisation and system is different, so my work is tailored rather than off-the-shelf. Engagements range from focused strategic advisory sessions and workshops to longer-term consultancy and transformation support.
